Morning Radar
... to taco or not to taco
Hello everyone,
Just a quick reminder of what to expect from the headline flow:
RTH session red: “War could be over soon, it’s very complete.”
RTH session closes green: “We will not relent until the enemy is defeated.”
Rather than reacting emotionally to a movie script we should all know by heart by now, try to take advantage of the open playbook. Bigger picture, nothing has changed – let the levels guide you. In the shorter term, embrace the headline flow and trade what price is actually doing.
Traders should welcome yesterday’s action and gap fills. Not only are we getting wide, tradable ranges, but we’re also not leaving any unfilled gaps behind. Having said that, remember that swing highs and lows set outside of RTH are, by definition, not “solid” and are likely to be retested, as there is still unfinished business there.
Anything can happen and markets can turn on a dime, but as things stand, all the TACO‑cheering and the conviction that the low is in for indices globally – and that there are no more longs to be had in crude – looks a little premature, to say the least.
Bottom line, stay nimble and think tactically.
Wishing you a great day ahead!
